Is There A Way To Change Phrases/names Throughout A Microsoft Word Document Without Having To Cut And Paste?

Jun 10, 2009; Microsoft |

I’m editing some documents and if there’s a time saver for this, it would certainly help.

Few days ago I found an excellent site with article Dvd movie covers. I found it very interesting and I copied it on my notebook

Yes. Press CTRL/H to bring up the Find and Replace dialog.
Hope that helps.

Yes, there is a Search and Replace function. It should be in the Edit menu, but I haven’t used Word for a while so I’m not 100% sure where it is located.
You just type in the word or phrase you want to replace, and the word or phrase you want to replace it with, and voila :)

Find and replace!
Find the scroll bar at the right hand side of the screen, underneath it there should be three buttons – up and down arrows and a circle between – click on the circle, click on the binoculars icon, select the ‘replace’ tab and away you go!

There is a “change” function” which will do a global find and replace.
You can get there from the “EDIT” pull down menu or use + h

Sure, just go into the find menu. From there you should see a replace tab. Type in what you what to replace and how you want it replaced. And then… tah-dah.
