I Can’t Paste Stuff I Copied From The Internet Into Microsoft Word Anymore?
I used to have no problem, but yesterday I tried to paste something I copies from the Internet into Word, and Word took ages and wouldn’t do it, so I just shut the problem, and I had the same problem today. What’s up?
I don’t know, but try using Paste Special. It tends to heal copy-and-paste problems, especially from the Internet.
In Microsoft Word versions prior to Word 2007:
1. Click the Edit->Paste Special menu item.
2. Select Unformatted Text in the As list box.
3. Click OK.
In Word 2007:
1. Press ALT/CTRL/V.
2. Proceed as in Step 2 above.
