What Is The Movie Called Where A Man Turns Into A Dog After He Was Murdered By Someone Close To Him?

If I can remember correctly, I am pretty sure that it was his brother but possibly his friend. Anyways, The Dad befriends his son (as a dog). Oh nad the murderer tries to get with the wife so the dog basically tries to use his son as a witness. bla bla I really want to watch this again, but I forgot it was called. Does anyone recall the name of the movie?
